HillzNHollars was closed down earlier this year.

It was located in Lockport, KY.

There is not really an "official" Slade site that I am aware of. When we make a trip, we always hire a local guy, that is well connected in the community, as a guide. He is able to get us into some areas that are on private land. We usually make a run in October every year. At present, all of the spots on the next ride are taken, but we would be happy to put you on the list if someone decides not to go. Love to have you both go, but we try to limit the Kenny and Kevin Birthday ride to 10 vehicles.

Muddy Buddys has a yearly members only ride and TKH Fab runs some guided runs throughout the year. If you are a Muddy Buddys member, they do not have a "cap" on the participants and for the price of membership, it would be worth joining their club.

As far as the Kentucky Challenge? Never heard of it. Is this the new place near Livingston I am hearing rummors about?

Thanks,
Kenny

Rick and Mary (Ma & Pa Jeeper) have talked about going to these KY Challenges some years back. PM them for more information, but if I recall correctly they are not held anymore. They talked about wheeling across an arch at Slade as well as other areas that are now closed to ORV traffic. Rick also said that many areas we wheeled in October are the same that they wheeled with the KY Challenge.

Hey this is Ma. As Marcia stated, they no longer have the Kentucky Challenge. We use to go every year for this and it was a well organized outing and loads of fun. As I remember the Parts stopped this run.
There also use to be a Tennesee Challenge run by the same group of people. I am not sure this is still going on down there either. How we found this information on the ride was in one of the four wheel magazines. We have not seen anthing about it for years.
Hope this answers any questions anyone might have? Slade is a beuatiful place to hike and go jeepin.
